Top Five Muscle Building Supplements
Before continuing on to read this article, it is very important to remember that although this will talk about the top five muscle building supplements known to date, these products should not be looked at as the main products for building the muscles and keeping the body healthy. It is very important to understand the meaning behind the word “supplement.” It is an add on to the diet to promote health and nutrition. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Anyone who claims that you can get amazing muscle growth just by adding supplements to your diet is fooling you. Top experts like kyle leon know that just supplements are not enough. You need a lot more then that, you need to have a regular exercise and you need to follow a strict workout and diet regime.
Here are the top five muscle building supplements.
-
BCAA
Branched Chained Amino Acids are actually the combination of three important amino acids: isoleucine, leucine and valine. These are normally not produced by the body and can only be obtained from fruits, vegetables and supplements. These amino acids are very important in the building of the muscles, increase the metabolism, increase energy and heal the body from overtraining. These are usually taken with protein supplements.
-
Creatine
This naturally occurs in the body and is usually obtained from chicken and steak. Unfortunately, an individual needs to eat tons of these in order to get the right amounts that will be useful. Creatine is important to the muscles for this is a source of energy that is needed when doing the workout routines. This is also an important muscle building supplement that helps increase muscle mass.
-
Essential Fatty Acids
EFAs are very important in the lowering of cholesterol levels which will result to the prevention of diseases that can result from it.
-
Multivitamins
Many people look to multivitamins as essential to nutrition and not as supplements. Look for multivitamins that include the important Vitamin B complexes, iron, zinc, magnesium, calcium, and many more. Make sure to only take multivitamins that the body can tolerate. There are some individuals where high doses of multivitamins can do them more harm than good. Ask for a doctor’s advice regarding the dosage. Taking too much can lead to hyper-vitaminosis.
-
Whey Protein
Protein supplements are, without a doubt, one of the most important of the muscle building supplements. Proteins are needed to repair muscles especially for those who are involved in diet and exercise. Without the proteins, the muscles can get too strained and ruined. In fact, no muscle mass can improve without these. These usually come in shakes which are considered to be one of the best ways to take in proteins instead of simply relying on tablets and capsules. Take these after working out for the best results.
